Green Lantern (Alan Scott) was created by Mart Nodell and Bill Finger and first appeared in All-American Comics #16 (April 1940)

| HISTORY |
Yet another JSA and All Star Squadron member, Alan Scott wasn't as close to Carter Hall as Jay Garrick was, Scott was one of those who refused to unmask before a senate committee in 1951 and slipped into retirement. Alan Scott recently became Sentinal and looks like he may have a Green Lantern as a son-in-law in Kyle Rayner, as Kyle and Jade are getting close to a real relationship.
