THE WRITERS: JOHN OSTRANDER

John Ostrander is the mild mannered comic book writer who has worked on such efforts as "Firestorm," "Martian Manhunter,", "Spectre,", "Suicide Squad," "Magnus: Robot Fighter," ALL 32 ISSUES OF "Hawkworld" and the first six of "Hawkman's" third series. He also co-created and wrote "GrimJack" with Timothy Truman. And on those extremely rare occasions when he's behind deadline, he does this sort of thing at night as well. Some of Ostrander's other credits include writings such as The Kents, an Elseworld's story based on Superman's Earth family in the wild west. And keeping with the western theme, he also completed a mini series for Marvel Comics starring the Marvel cast of western heroes.
