Synopsis: - Ruin confronts Superman, telling him that Superman is a solar battery, stealing power from the sun which belongs to humanity. He has a device for storing this power, but it ruptured. Xlim's gun, however, still works, able to negate Superman's solar power. In the confrontation, three of Ruin's hostages are doused in chemicals, and Xlim manages to break free of Ruin's control. Both of them are taken into custody, and a weakened Superman suddenly has his attention drawn to Umec, where Lois Lane is shot. He is at the scene at top speed, catching her as she falls.
